Howdy West Texas!
I have been a part of the ABC 7 news team since June 2018. I’m excited to be a part of the Panhandle Spirit and I look forward to telling stories about this community.
In May I graduated from Texas State University magna cum lade, where I fully immersed myself in the world of broadcast journalism. From the on-campus radio station, to off-campus internships, I couldn’t get enough.
I come from KVII’s San Antonio sister station, where I spent a full year working on a spectrum of shows. I eventually found my passion in investigative work while interning for the Troubleshooters. Following my internship in San Antonio, I took my newly founded interest to Austin where I interned for KXAN Investigates.
On top of going to school and interning, I also produced the morning traffic show for KABB/WOAI. I spent most of my mornings looking for accidents and major congestion on the city’s highways. You could say I’m thankful to be in Amarillo where there’s little to no traffic.
In my spare time I love to read, listen to podcasts or spend time by the pool.
If you have a book suggestion, story idea, or something that needs to be investigated, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I can’t wait to hear from you!
