The Follett Panthers finish the season 12-3 after falling 48-0 to the Strawn Greyhounds in the Class 1A Division II state title game.

This is Strawn's second year winning the state title in D2 1A. The Greyhounds were off to a fast start, scoring on every single drive of the first quarter - before topping it off with a short run into the end zone before half, making them eligible for mercy-rule.

Follett is the first of four Texas Panhandle teams competing for a state title this week. McLean will face Milford in the Class 1A Division I state title game Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Arlington, followed by Gruver facing Mart at 7 p.m. Canadian will face Newton at 3 p.m. on Thursday.
