It's your voice and we went out looking for you to see what role you think the government should play in your life. From education to jobs, we want to know what issues you think the government should address.
"I think that it's not the government's responsibility to take care of people the way that the government tries to take care of people. I think that's more of the church's responsibility," said Meredith Hall.
"Easing taxes on big corporations so that they'll bring jobs back to the United States," said Carla Fisher.
"If they're committed and make high enough grades in high school and if they don't finish they should have to pay it back," said Savannah Davis.
We saw a broad range of answers when it came to what you want the government to do for you. However, let's talk about the opposite, should the government be doing less of anything?
"I don't think it's the government's responsibility to legislate morality," said Hall.
"Quit taxing those corporations so much so that they're not getting so greedy that they take the jobs overseas. It's putting so many people out of work," said Fisher.
As far as the government affecting your daily life, where do you stand on their involvement in your life?
"I think right now it's not a problem. I don't think its imbalance, but I feel like they're heading towards being too involved," said Hall.
"I do think they're in our lives too much. Too many people are wanting the government to interfere with this and interfere with that, before you know it, they have so much control on our lives," said Fisher.
"I disagree with that because it's like the whole life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. The government doesn't guarantee your happiness; you have the right to make yourself feel that way," said Davis.
