Woman arrested following bank robbery in South Amarillo
AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) —
A woman has been arrested following a Monday afternoon bank robbery in South Amarillo.
According to Amarillo police, a call regarding a robbery at the Citizen's Bank at I-27 and South Georgia Street was received just after noon.
Officers were able to locate the suspect, who has only been identified at this point as a black female in her 20s, traveling in a vehicle. She was pulled over near the intersection of 10th Avenue and Georgia Street, where she was taken into custody.
