One Amarillo group is making sure prisoners get a gift this Christmas. No Boundaries International along with the Downtown Kiwanis Club and Boys Ranch spent time Sunday creating gift bags for those in jail.

The group says the gift bags will be a surprise to prisoners, but they are filled with hygiene products and a special treat.

This might be the only present many prisoners get this holiday.

"I imagine they don't get much at all,” said volunteer Natalie Stephenson with the Downtown Kiwanis Club, “So to at least, by our small token, to know they are not forgotten, that we do think about them and hope by some little means, it might be a glimmer, for them to walk the right road when they get out."

Included inside the gift bags also a Christmas card. The group filled more than 600 bags. They will be delivered to prisoners later this month.
