Texas Senator Seliger making tour through Panhandle
Texas State Senator Kel Seliger is on his annual tour through the counties of Senate District 31 with several stops in the Texas Panhandle.
Seliger's first stop in the Panhandle will be on Wednesday, Sept. 19 in Gray, Wheeler, Collingsworth and Donley Counties. First will be a town hall at Pampa High School from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., then he will stop at the Wheeler County Commissioner's Court Room in Wheeler from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., next he will be at the Wellington High School Auditorium from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and finally, at Clarendon College, Bairfield Activity Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The next day, Seliger will be at the Carson County War Memorial in Panhandle from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and then he have a town hall at the Borger City Hall from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Seliger's last confirmed run through the Panhandle will be on Oct. 3 in Swisher, Briscoe, Hall and Armstrong Counties. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., he will be at the Tulia High School Auditorium, then Seliger will travel to the Silverton Public Library for a town hall from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., afterward he will visit the Memphis Public Library from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. and then will close the day with a stop at the Armstrong County Courthouse from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Seliger has town halls planned for Castro, Dallam, Deaf Smith, Hansford, Hartley, Moore, Oldham, Parmer and Sherman Counties that have yet to be confirmed.
