
TEXAS COUNTY, Okla. (KVII) — Texas County Emergency Management Officials are reporting 16 new COVID-19 cases and one death on Tuesday.
According to the county, the new positive tests are for 14 Guymon residents and two Hooker residents and lift the county's total to 252 confirmed cases.
Officials also said a man in the 50-64 age group passed away on Monday, marking the county's third COVID-19 death.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health has reported that 96 of the 252 reported virus cases in Texas County have recovered.
