Texas County officials have confirmed 57 new positive COVID-19 cases on Sunday, May 10.

The new positive results are for 49 Guymon residents, three Hooker residents, two Texhoma residents, two Optima residents and one Adams resident.

Guymon ranks third in the state with 313 confirmed cases behind Oklahoma City’s 730 and Tulsa’s 476. The high amount of cases led to local leaders working together to request more testing. Additionally, the Texas County Health Department will be hosting another mass drive through testing on May 16 from 9 a.m., to 12 p.m., at the Texas County Activity Center.

Guymon 313

Hooker 54

Tyrone 10
