Sunray City Manager arrested for theft of property by a public servant

    The City manager for Sunray turned himself in Monday after he was indicted and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

    Rob Roach is charged with Theft of Property over $100,00 but under $200,000 by a public servant, which is a first degree felony. He turned himself in to the Carson County Sheriff's Office Monday morning.

    Roach currently serves as the City manager of Sunray. However, he was formerly the Panhandle Police Chief and City Manager. He was fired from his position as the Panhandle City Manager.

    The Texas Rangers are investigating the case.
