Officials arrest man accused in Hutchinson County shooting

BORGER, Texas (KVII) — One man was arrested in connection to a shooting that happened Saturday in Hutchinson County.

According to the Hutchinson County Sheriff's Office, Michael David Niavez, Sr. was taken into custody on Monday. He is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and was booked into the Hutchinson County Jail just after 11:30 p.m.

HCSO said the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
