AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Update at 1:32 p.m. 11/27: Stephen Andrew Hale, 38, was indicted Oct. 17 by a Potter County grand jury, according to documents from the Potter County district clerk.
Hale was indicted on one count of exhibiting firearms on campus or school, according to the documents.
He was arrested as part of an investigation into a reports of shots being fired at a woman at a Horace Mann Middle School football practice on Aug. 16.
Update at 1 p.m. 8/17: Amarillo police have identified the man arrested after shots were fired at a woman in the Horace Mann Middle School parking lot.
Stephen Andrew Hale, 38, was taken into custody by Potter County Sheriff’s Deputies north of Amarillo, according to an updated news release from the Amarillo Police Department.
Hale was arrested and booked into the Potter County Detention Center for Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon Domestic Violence and Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group One Over One Ounce and Less Than or Equal to Four Ounces, according to the APD release.

Amarillo police arrested a man accuse of coming to a football practice at Horace Mann Middle School on Thursday, and firing shots at a 37-year-old woman, according to an Amarillo Police Department news release.
