The Ruby Tequila's lawsuit will move forward minus one defendant.

Former employees of the restaurant filed a lawsuit against business partners and companies associated with the restaurant in September. Shortly after, defendant Magdalena Baier filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. This court filing caused the case to be placed on hold to allow the court to process the bankruptcy.

The plaintiffs filed to have Baier dismissed on October 6, so that the case could proceed with the remaining defendants. A judge granted the dismissal on October 16. Baier is now listed as terminated in the court documents.
