AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Heal the City Free Clinic is the latest victim of COVID-19-related closures.

The clinic announced Tuesday it will close until further notice due to an exposure to the coronavirus, according to a news release.

Lisa Lloyd, the clinic's development director, said in the release that the clinic is working alongside the Amarillo Public Health Department.

She said they are prioritizing the health of staff, volunteers and patients with this decision, saying public health is of the "utmost importance."
