Discovery Center invites fans to name two new animatronic dinosaurs

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — The Don Harrington Discovery Center is asking for some help finding names for two of its new prehistoric friends.

In a Monday release, the center said they now have two new animatronic dinosaurs at its upcoming Outdoor Science Park.

They are asking for submissions on names for the two new dinosaurs. The top five names will be chosen by staff after May 1.

Afterwards, a public vote will be held to see what name for each dinosaur wins.

Winners will be given a free one-year family membership to the center and an invitation to the dinosaurs' unveiling ceremony.
