    Highway 70 has reopened, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

    Crews are battling a grass fire in Gray County near Highway 70 about eight miles south of Pampa.

    According to officials, the highway has been closed in both directions to the McClellan Bridge while crews from Pampa, Lefors and Hoover battle the fire.

    The public is asked to avoid the area at this time.
