CLOVIS, N.M. (KVII) — Clovis police have released the names of the three men found dead in an out building after it caught fire on Sunday.
According to the Clovis Police Department, officers and fire crews were sent to the 200- block of Calhoun Street just before 3 p.m. regarding the fire.
When crews arrived, firefighters saw a small, detached out building in the back yard of the home engulfed in flames. Crews were told there were still people inside the building.
CPD said crews battled the fire and once they were able to go inside, they found 54-year-old John Sandoval, 51-year-old Robert Elebario and 52-year-old Billie Joe Grabowsky deceased.
Police said a fourth person, 53-year-old Rogelio Hernandez was able to escape the building. He was taken to be treated at Plains Regional Medical Center.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation as of Monday afternoon.
