According to the San Antonio Fire Department, a number of people were exposed to an unknown chemical at a location along Loop 410 at the I-35 interchange on the Northeast Side at 12 p.m.

The people who were affected then went to a clinic located along I-35 and Eisenhauer Road.

Emergecy crews blocked two lanes of the access road in front of the clinic to give emergency vehicles enough room to get around.

It was unknown how many people were affected and what type of exposure they experienced.

No other information was released.
