One dead, four injured after vehicle crash in northwest Amarillo

One person is dead after a one-vehicle crash at 9794 Brickplant Rd.According to the Texas Department of Public Safety Sgt. Cindy Barkley, a 2002 Honda was heading southeast on Brickplant Road and failed to negotiate the curve.She said the driver then lost control and rolled multiple times before landing in a gully.Investigators tell ABC 7 News, there were five people in the car aged 18 and 19 years old.The four passengers were ejected and the driver remained inside the vehicle.Three of the teens were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries by ambulance and one was taken via Lifestar with life-threatening injuries.Sgt. Barkley said none of the people in the car were wearing seatbelts. This is a developing story and we will bring you the latest as more information becomes available.
