ARAD opening doors to treatment center Monday
AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) —
The Amarillo Recovery from Alcohol and Drugs (ARAD) residential treatment center will open its doors Monday.
The center will be accepting its first program participants for outpatient, intensive outpatient, residential and supportive residential care starting Monday at 8 a.m., according to ARAD's Facebook page.
For more than two decades, Amarillo has not had a residential treatment center for alcohol and drugs and early last year, ARAD entered into a long-term lease with the Mary E. Bivins Foundation for the building.
The center is located at 1001 Wallace Boulevard.
