APD investigating after body found at City Water Reclamation Site

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Authorities are investigating after a body was found at the City of Amarillo's Water Reclamation Site on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, shortly after 3 p.m., officers were dispatched to meet Potter County Deputies at the City Water Reclamation Site on the 7100 block of Cliffside Road where a body was found on the property.
Officials on scene tell ABC 7 News that the man's body is stuck in a drain and a search and rescue team is en route in order to move it.
Officers are currently investigating the incident.
