    Amarillo Police say 69-year-old Linda Tapp was found in Amarillo safe and has been returned to her family.

    Amarillo Police are searching for a 69-year-old woman that has dementia and is believed to be in danger due to the cold temperatures.

    According to police, Linda Tapp, 69, was last seen at about 9 a.m. on Monday in the area of NW 4th Avenue and Tennessee Street. She is described as a white female, standing 5'5" and weighing 100 pounds. Tapp was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

    Tapp has been diagnosed with dementia and is believed to be in danger because of the cold temperatures.
