AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A 25-year-old man is dead after a shooting at a nightclub north of downtown Amarillo early Sunday morning.
According to the Amarillo Police Department, at about 4:14 a.m., officers were called to the area of northeast 10th Avenue and Fillmore Street for a shooting.
Officers found the scene of the shooting at an after-hours club at 1003 N. Fillmore.
No victims were on the scene when officers arrived.
A short time later, five victims arrived at the local hospitals. One subject died from his injuries, one person has life-threatening injuries and the other three all had non-life-threatening injuries.
The deceased was identified as Suade Fisher, 25.
Police said there were possibly between 75 and 100 people in the club when the shooting started.
This shooting is related to another shooting that happened earlier in the morning in the 500 block of N. Fillmore.
