On Friday morning, officers with the Amarillo Police Department responded to a call around 11 a.m. about possible suspects who stole diamonds from a jewelry store in the 3300- block of South Bell Street.

A white male and a black male were seen entering the store separately and were looking at different items, according to APD.

The white male took a phone call and walked towards the door. He held the door open as the black male grabbed the diamond and ran out. The suspects ran off together and got into a mid-sized Ford SUV driven by a white female.

According to police, the black male is described as being in his 20s. He was about 5'10" tall and was wearing a suit with a brown or tan hat.

Police said the white male is described as being about 5'10" tall and wearing a dark colored button up shirt, blue jeans and a ball cap.
