ALT presenting production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The Amarillo Little Theatre is producing the Broadway musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as its first Mainstage production of the 2018-2019 season.

The musical features of a cast of 46 performers, including 19 ALT Academy youth.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the musical retelling of the biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. It features several music styles from rock to country, jazz, disco and more. ALT has produced this show twice before to the delight of the audiences.

The cast features Michael Froschheiser in the title role and is narrated by Kelsey Kilburn, with newcomer Justin Unwin as Pharoah. The other cast includes: Beth Alexander, Cinda Alexander, Sydney Berg, Nels Bjork, Tony Brazell, Hayden Brillhart, Kayden Burns, Kyan Burns, Grason Derington, Laken Derington, Madie Evans, Victoria Fisher, Mabry Fristoe, Noah Hartman, Dennis Humphrey, Kaycee Humphrey, Emerson Johnston, Kallie Kilburn, Darby Laird, Sawyer Laird, Phoebe Laur, Piper Laur, Justin Loe, Abigail Martin, Jarett McDowell, Claire McPherson, Chad Murphy, Erin Murphy, Steve Parker, Bodi Parks, Zoë Parrish, Jeffrey Pickens, Stoney Prickett, Sean Pritchard, Nicholas Shaffer, Amy Shelburne, Bryan Shelburne, Jeri Tidmore, Owen Tidmore, Travis Tidmore, Conner Unwin, Hugh Wilson and Ethan Worsham.

Allen Shankles is the Artistic Director and Jennifer Akins is Music Director, along with Shawn Walsh in charge of choreography. Jamie Humphrey is the assistant to the director and costumes are by Alexandra Bennett and Sydney Williams. The Scenic Designer for this production is David Walsh.

Dates for the show are Sept. 13 and Sept. 20 at 7 p.m., Sept. 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 8 p.m., and Sept. 16 and 23 at 2:30 p.m.
