Acting Sunray police chief arrested in Dumas for tampering with government documents
MOORE COUNTY, Texas (KVII) —
The acting Sunray police chief has been arrested for tampering with government documents, law enforcement officials say.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Rangers and the FBI arrested Joseph Flores at about 3 p.m. in Dumas on Friday for tampering with a governmental document. However, authorities were not able to confirm the charges are related to the ongoing double murder homicide investigation of former police Timothy Dean, his wife Charlene Childers or former Sunray officer Bron Bohlar.
