2 people taken to hospital after wreck near I-40, Crockett
AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) —
A four-vehicle crash caused by a truck that ran a stop sign at Interstate 40 and Crockett resulted in two people being taken to the hospital.
Witnesses on the scene told ABC 7 crews that two vehicles southbound on Crockett were hit by a pickup, who ran the stop sign, eastbound on the frontage road. That pickup proceeded to hit another pickup that cascaded into a tree on the slope of the overpass.
Two people were extricated from the truck that hit the tree and transported to the hospital by ambulance with undisclosed injuries.
