John Rich tweeted a poll asking fans if they are thirsty for a Bud Light now? About 97 percent of his followers voted “Hell Naw” while 2 percent voted “Yep”. He also asked his 900,000 followers what beer he should replace for his Nashville bar.

This comes after transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney was sent a Bud Light beer can with her face on it as a “personal” gift and it’s not for public sale.

Travis Tritt and Kid Rock have both shared on social media their outrage towards Bud Light.

Anheuser-Busch defends its paid promotion with Mulvaney and said that they have not fired its marketing team in response to the Mulvaney sponsorship.

“Anheuser-Busch works with hundreds of influencers across our brands as one of many ways to authentically connect with audiences across various demographics,” the brand said. “From time to time we produce unique commemorative cans for fans and for brand influencers, like Dylan Mulvaney. This commemorative can was a gift to celebrate a personal milestone and is not for sale to the general public.”
