State health officials reported 74 new COVID-19 cases and four deaths in Eastern New Mexico, as well as 1,837 new cases and 32 deaths statewide, on Thursday.
According to the New Mexico Department of Health, there were 43 new coronavirus cases reported in Curry County, three new cases reported in Quay County, 26 new cases in Roosevelt County and two in Union County.
Including the above newly reported cases, New Mexico has now had a total of 499,392 COVID-19 cases:

- A male in his 40s from Bernalillo County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions.
- A third female in her 60s from Bernalillo County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions.
- A second male in his 60s from Bernalillo County. The individual was hospitalized.
- A male in his 70s from Chaves County. The individual had underlying conditions.
- A male in his 50s from Chaves County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions.
- A female in her 60s from Cibola County. The individual was hospitalized and had underlying conditions.

- A male in his 80s from Valencia County. The individual had underlying conditions and was a resident of the Good Life Senior Living and Memory Care facility in Los Lunas.
The number of deaths of New Mexico residents related to COVID-19 is now 6,629.
