Amarillo COVID-19 report card adds 7 new cases, 55 recoveries, net drop of 48 active cases

Amarillo public health officials are reporting seven new COVID-19 cases, 55 recoveries and a net drop of 48 active cases on Friday.

Friday's COVID-19 report card shows 1,223 active cases in Potter County and 233 active cases in Randall County for a total of 1,456 active cases in the Amarillo area.

In total, there have been 3,597 coronavirus cases confirmed in the Amarillo area with 2,822 in Potter County and 775 in Randall County.

With the 55 recoveries reported today, there are now 1,560 patients recovered in Potter County and 536 recoveries in Randall County for a total of 2,096 recoveries in the Amarillo area.

In Potter and Randall Counties, there have been 21,640 tests conducted with 238 results still pending.
