Tiffany Lester joined the ABC 7 news team as a multimedia journalist in September of 2016.
Tiffany enjoys getting out in the community, meeting people and telling their stories. She believes journalism should be about informing and helping residents understand what’s going on in the world around them.
Tiffany grew up in the small Alabama town of Glenwood. She attended Troy University, just a few miles from home, and studied everything from nursing, to psychology, to business before settling into the broadcast journalism department, where she met friends and discovered her true passion for journalism.
After graduating in 2012, she began working as a producer at Alabama News Network in Montgomery, Alabama. She quickly moved up in the ranks and became the morning producer/photographer, where she improved on her skills behind the camera.
Two years later, Tiffany moved out West to Butte, Montana, accepting a bureau reporter position for NBC Montana. In the Mining City, she learned how to juggle several stories at a time and work with political, law enforcement and community officials all while asking the hard questions.
Tiffany is excited to live in the Texas Panhandle and learn what the city has to offer.
