Thanks for checking out my bio! I am so excited to start my career in The Panhandle and share the incredible stories of this community.
I was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas and grew up with a passion for playing soccer.
Originally, I attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene where I played soccer my freshman year, not wanting to give up such a huge part of my life. However, I soon realized that I had developed another passion: Journalism.
I decided to transfer to Texas Tech University (Wreck ‘Em!) and graduated May 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. During my time at Texas Tech, I joined a sorority, Alpha Chi Omega and worked as a sports reporter for an online publication. I also participated in MCTV, a biweekly student broadcast, where I would anchor, report and produce, as well as interned at FOX34 News at Nine in Lubbock.
In my spare time, I love hanging out with my fur-baby Wally, watching the NFL and everything there is to do with the Green Bay Packers (Yes, I’m a die-hard Cheesehead- Go Pack Go!) and exploring the city of Amarillo.
