Cowboys expect big things from speedster Hill

Oklahoma State wide receiver Tyreek Hill (24) carries the ball during an Orange Blitz NCAA college spring football practice in Stillwater, Okla., Saturday, April 5, 2014.

Oklahoma State's Tyreek Hill is the preseason Big 12 Newcomer of the Year and coach Mike Gundy calls him the fastest Cowboy in more than 20 years.

Hill transferred from Garden City Community College in Kansas, where he caught 32 passes for 532 yards and six touchdowns and had 101 carries for 659 yards and five scores last year.

After enrolling at Oklahoma State in January and joining the track team, Hill won the 200 meters and placed second in the 60 meters at the Big 12 Indoor Track and Field Championship in the spring.

Oklahoma State running back Desmond Roland is excited about the damage he and Hill could do together.
