The Amarillo Sox kept their playoff hopes alive Sunday with a 12-2 win at Sioux Falls that's the good news. The bad news is Grand Prairie came back from behind to beat Lincoln 7-6 eliminating Laredo who lost to Quebec 6-2, and keeping themselves one game on the Sox in the division standings.
So the scenario is simple, if Grand Prairie wins tomorrow on the final day of the regular season they would win the South Division and clinch a playoff spot. But if the Sox win and the AirHogs lose the Sox would be the South Division champions and clinch the playoff spot due to a tiebreaker they hold over the AirHogs.
