The 70th annual Boys Ranch Rodeo +adventureFEST, benefitting the boys and girls of Cal Farley's will be held Labor Day weekend, Aug. 30-31. Single-day tickets for the rodeo cost $10 each and includes admission to adventureFEST and a traditional Western barbecue lunch.

The Boys Ranch Rodeo is a longtime Texas Panhandle tradition. Our founder, Cal Farley, hosted the first Boys Ranch Rodeo in 1944 to give early Boys Ranch residents a better sense of connection to the outside world. The benefits to Boys Ranch residents and those of the Texas Panhandle remain the same today: It is mutually beneficial for the boys and girls living at Boys Ranch to see people in nearby communities care about them. The Boys Ranch Rodeo also lets the youth of Cal Farley's be a part of something bigger than themselves and lets them fulfill the basic human needs of adventure and achievement.

The fun will begin at 10 a.m. each day with the fourth annual adventureFEST. This family-friendly festival is filled with midway-style food, games, activities and souvenirs will feature the Boys Ranch Rodeo Funnymen, Boys Ranch Rodeo corporate partners and much more.

Lunch consists of a traditional barbecue meal with Boys Ranch-raised beef and fixings provided by Rudy's Country Store and Bar-B-Q. Lunch is served near the Rodeo Grounds at Boys Ranch from noon until 2 p.m.
