Spring Break has arrived. The kids are out of school and ready for fun. Here's a few ideas, practicing parents:

Walk through time at the Amarillo Historical Museum. It recently opened and is located inside the old Wilson School at 211 SE 17th Street, Room 217. It features historical items from early Amarillo to present.

Brush with Art, a hands-on art studio has a spring break camp beginning Tuesday and running through Friday from 10am until noon.

Practicing Parent, Jayme, recommends heading outdoors to "park hop." She says her family went to five different parks around town in one day!

Practicing Parent, Jodi, and her twin sons enjoyed Monday at the Amarillo Zoo. "The animals were active and seemed happy about the sunshine," Jodi said.
