Celebrate fall in the Texas Panhandle:
Welcome fall in Canyon, TX September 30th at the town's first Autumn Street Fest! In addition to the weekly Canyon Farmers Market, there will be a pet parade, pumpkin painting, and specials/sales at participating merchants.

8:00-2:00 Canyon Farmers Market
10:00-2:00 Pumpkin Painting - FREE pumpkins for the first 100 children (Age 12 & Under) *Pumpkins will be available for purchase from Troop 4 Boys Scouts and Thompson's Gift Shop
10:00-6:00 Sales and specials from various members of the Canyon Merchants Association
10:30 Pet Parade - They will also have forms for you to fill out that morning
See the glorious golds, vibrant reds and oranges as the leaves change in this northeastern Panhandle town full of trees (something very rare in parts of the Texas Panhandle).
This year's festival features an arts and crafts show, shopping, dining, quilt show, car show, art activities, helicopter tours, nature activities at Lake Marvin, special programming at museums around town, and more!
Always the third weekend in October, this year it's October 21 & 22, 2017.
The Golden Light Cafe's Green Chile Stew is back on the menu! Folks wait patiently for this seasonal favorite.
Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm is back at it. Their 2017 season will begin Saturday, September 23rd and end on Sunday, October 29th. But always check their Facebook page for the latest on hours of operation, as our Panhandle weather can affect the fun.
