King Hill says, "It's a world premiere. We've gotten to do a lot of things lately - the Lone Star Trilogy at the Performing Arts Center. Now we've come to Claude for another opening of a new play."

The Gem has been entertaining Armstrong County audiences since 1915.

It's been used a variety of ways, for movies, live music performances and live theatre.

Next door the Armstrong County Museum has served as a historical repository for artifacts connected to the settling of the county and much more.
