Say What?! To build a wall or not to build a wall?

We continue this week's Say What with your voice and your vote. Right now the question is heating up around immigration again, and we want to know if you think our nation is doing enough to help combat the immigration issue.

"Our nation is doing way too much. I believe there are way too many social programs. I feel like it's completely out of control," said Jenny Kirkland.

"I think we should be doing more to bring immigrants into our country. It will stabilize and boost our economy and we should be doing more to protect our border," said Taylor Holland.

How does a borderless nation sound to you? Or do you agree with building a wall around our country?

"I am all for the border. I am all for strong leadership, put a strong border in place," said Kirkland.

"Part of protecting our border might be a wall, but if we do that it would be conditional on allowing more immigrants in legally to be able to help them gain citizenship and boost our economic situation," said Holland.

"It sounds like it may be a temporary fix, but is it really going to cause more issues down the road?" said Brandy Becker.

As we count down to election day, what would you like to see the next president tackle in terms of immigration?

"Make it a fair opportunity, for people trying to get in here legally to not compete with the strain on our economy for the people that are coming in here illegally," said Kirkland.

"Major initiative to increase immigration legally into our country so that maybe protecting our border wouldn't be such a massive issue," said Holland.

"Being more strict about our guidelines, about immigrants coming over here. I think that's going to help a lot," said Becker.
