The Gray County Sheriff's Office has found a man missing since January 15, 2011.
Michael Phillip Haddock 50 years old of Pampa was last seen January 14, 2011 at around 5:30 a.m. headed to an appointment with a doctor in Oklahoma City at 10:30 a.m. that morning. Haddock never showed up at the appointment, and family members were not able to contact him. An investigation was started by the Gray County Sheriff's Office, The Texas Dept. Public Safety, The Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and the Pampa Police Dept.
On January 23, 2011 at approximately 8:50 a.m., the Gray County Sheriff's Office received a call to respond to Texas 152 and County Road 29. The caller stated that he found a wrecked vehicle in a ravine at that location. The caller stated that he had noticed a glimpse of metal as he drove over the ravine, and upon going down into the ravine, he found a white ford pickup that was wrecked and the body of a male inside the vehicle. The vehicle was not visible from the roadway. They identified him as Haddock.
The Texas Department of Public Safety was called and worked the accident, and was assisted by Deputies of the Gray County Sheriff's Office.
