ProNews 7 has confirmed that West Texas A&M police are investigating an alleged sexual assault.
According to WTAMU Police Chief, Shawn Burns, police were notified on November 15th around 1:00 a.m. about an alleged sexual assault at Buff Hall.
Burns said the actual offense occurred between 10:00 on the evening of the 13th to 3:00 am on the 14th. The victim and the two suspects are all WT students.
Burns added that no arrest have been made and that no charges have been filed. He also said they are hoping to wrap up their investigation and hope to present the case to the Randall County District Attorney's office by next week at the latest.
