Wells Fargo announces $15k donation to Fritch relief efforts

Wells Fargo & Co just announced the company will donate $15,000 for relief efforts to support those impacted by wildfires in the Lake Meredith National Recreation Area of the Texas Panhandle.
Additionally, through May 31, Wells Fargo customers can donate to the American Red Cross at Wells Fargo ATMs across northwest Texas. Customers will not be charged a fee for using this service and 100 percent of the donations will be sent to the American Red Cross.
"Wells Fargo is committed to helping those affected or displaced by the wildfires recover from this devastating event," said Ken Telg, region president for Greater Texas. "We appreciate the hard work of the American Red Cross to assist our communities, and we hope our contribution and the contributions of our customers will play an important role in supporting the recovery and rebuilding efforts. Our thoughts are with everyone in the Fritch and Lake Meredith area during this challenging time."
Customers impacted by the wildfires may discuss their financial options by contacting Wells Fargo 24/7 at 1-800-869-3557. Customers can also visit Wells Fargo stores in Borger and Amarillo.
