Borger natives Mark and Kara Floyd, along with their two children, rode out Hurricane Irma in Lakeworth, FL.

While they don't live near the beach, the Floyd's do live near a lake. They said during the storm, the water rose very close to their home, and they are expecting more rain Monday afternoon.

The Floyds have two children; Max is 9 years old and Piper is 4 years old. Max said the most terrifying part of the storm was the tornado warnings.

While the Floyds are safe this morning, they have lost power and don't know when it will come back on.
