Walmart announced the return of it's Great Gas Rollback, running from April 1-July 1, 2013.
They are easing pain at the pump with the nationwide program aimed at helping Walmart customers save on gas prices, just in time for the summer months.
Walmart customers using a Walmart gift card can receive a 10 cents per gallon discount, while those with a Walmart MoneyCard or Walmart Credit Card can save up to 15 cents per gallon every time they fill up.
"Over the past two years, our Great Gas Rollback has saved customers more than $100 million," said Chief Operating Officer for Walmart, Gisel Ruiz. "This year, we're bringing it back to help families as they hit the road to visit relatives, go on vacation, celebrate the summer holidays and every shopping trip in between."
The savings come as Americans prepare for the summer months. Amarillo gas prices are down two cents from last week.
The AAA reports the average price of gas is at $3.51, compared to the national average of $3.64 per gallon. In Amarillo, gas prices are $3.41.
Retail gas prices declined steadily in March as oil prices crept higher on signs of continued economic recovery, according to AAA.
