A young Amarillo man is dead after a vehicle allegedly rammed him to death while he remained in his own car.
Witnesses say around 2 a.m. Sunday morning they saw a Ford Expedition in the parking lot of Amarillo Community Federal Credit Union ramming 18-year-old Andrew Santos in his Nissan Sentra.
The Expedition allegedly pushed Santos TMs car into a concrete column near the drive-up teller's window and repeatedly rammed it.
After the Nissan was forced into the column, two people were seen running from the Ford north bound.
Officers were called and Santos was declared dead at the scene.
A 17-year-old female passenger in the Nissan was taken to a local hospital where she has been admitted in guarded condition with internal injuries.
The Expedition involved was reported stolen several hours after this crime.
Special crimes is talking to two persons of interests but have made no arrests at this time.
