Vandalism suspects arrested

Vandalism calls in Borger, Texas came flooding in July 11, 2013.

Borger Police said most of the damage was to vehicles, and the suspects were unknown, until July 12, 2013.

Three teenagers, all from Borger, are now in the Hutchinson County Jail. Jordan Duvall and Gasper Esparza are both 17 years old, and Meko Salinas is 19 years old.

One Borger resident and vandalism victim said his camper window is broken and will cost him at least $500 to fix.

Borger Police said much of the damage came from BB guns and while they're still investigating, it seems the suspects were out for a joy ride.

"At this point in time, all three are charged with a state jail felony of criminal mischief which is a charge of $15,000 up to $20,000 dollars." said Lt. Anthony Griffin of the Borger Police Department "We look for that to go up as more reports come in and we assess and get the total calculations of the damages. We look for that charge to go up probably closer to a third degree felony."

Griffin asks that you be vigilant and be sure to call it in anything suspicious.
