October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and United Supermarkets LLC is showing their support by donating money to breast cancer research and awareness.
Pink Tuesdays is this year's campaign to raise money. Each Tuesday during the month of October, United Supermarkets will donate $1 for every guest wearing pink who makes a purchase of $10 or more up to a $25,000 donation for the month. Shoppers can also purchase pink reusable shopping bags for $2 each and $1 of each sale will go to the cause.
"Each year, we team up with guests to raise awareness and funds to help fight breast cancer and work toward a cure," said Shelby Crews, community relations manager for United Supermarkets, LLC. "Breast cancer has affected every community we serve, and we are proud to take a stand this October to help educate and empower women and men to take charge of their own breast health."
All 50 locations will participate in the campaign. For more information visit United Supermarkets website.
