Two caught attempting to steal iPads from elementary school

APD catch two attempting to steal iPads from Pleasant Valley Elementary School on Sunday.
On June 8 approximately 9:30 a.m., officers were sent to 4413 River Road, Pleasant Valley Elementary School, on a burglary in progress. School employees had responded to an alarm call at the building, and saw two young males walking away, carrying a black box.
Responding officers found the two suspects beside a dumpster near the school, and found the black box beside it.
The box was a lockable charging station that contained 10 iPads that had been taken from the school.
Officers took both into custody.
A check of the school revealed that the suspedcts had broken a window to gain entry to the school.
A second charging station was found inside the school left near a door.
The two suspects were Jorge Isaac Najera, 18, and a juvenile male.
Najera was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for burglary, possession of marijuana under two ounces, and three municipal warrants. Juvenile authorities had officers release the juevenile to a parent.
