Over one-hundred pounds of marijuana valued at over forty-six thousand dollars was confiscated during a traffic stop along I-40, Wednesday afternoon.
According to Texas Department of Public Safety trooper Gabriel Medrano, a trooper made a routine traffic stop of a 2000 Infiniti passenger car, eastbound on Interstate 40 near Conway.
The vehicle was driven by Juvenal Mendoza-Barragan, 56, of Albuquerque, N.M. was heading to Oklahoma City, OK. according to Medrano.
The trooper asked to search the vehicle and found 87 bundles of marijuana in the trunk, weighing over 102 pounds.
The driver was arrested and charged withy second-degree felony possession of marijuana.
