Tuesday night proved to be another active night for severe weather in the Texas Panhandle and Eastern New Mexico.
Pronews 7 has confirmed that three tornados did touch down, according to the National Weather Service, two of those were very short. All of these touchdowns were located in Castro County, near the city of Dimmitt. The Clovis News Journal is also reporting a small tornado touchdown Tuesday afternoon, just after 3:00 p.m. A small tornado was reported about 10 miles south of Clovis, this was the first time the tornado sirens had sounded in Clovis since March 23, 2007.
Fortunately there are no reports of injuries.
