Starting February 14th and 15th, the musical "The Wizard of Oz" is coming to Amarillo at the Civic Center Complex Auditorium.

Both shows start at 7:30 pm and tickets for the performances are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased online at PanhandleTickets.com or in person at the Civic Center Complex box office and participating United Supermarkets in Amarillo, Canyon, Borger, Dumas, Dalhart, Hereford and Pampa. Groups of 10 or more receive a discount and to charge-by-phone, call 806-378-3096.

This production is a celebration of the 1939 movie and will be presented with 'breathtaking special effects that will sweep audiences away, from the moment the tornado twists its way into Kansas.'

The show features the classic songs such as "Over the Rainbow," "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead" and "If I Only Had A Brain." All the beloved characters of the film will "have the entire family captivated as they travel down the yellow brick road for an unforgettable day at the theater."

As part of the 2017-2018 Broadway Spotlight Series, the Wizard of Oz is the second show that is welcomed in Amarillo by Education Credit Union, Embassy Suites by Hilton Amarillo Downtown and KVII-ProNews 7. The show is followed by the national tour of Dirty Dancing, the Classic Story on stage and Chicago.

Tickets for the three Broadway shows are available to purchase as a package for a little as $81.50. For details and more information, visit CelebrityAttractions.com, www.wizardofoztour.com, or call 806-378-3096.
